Paper Review & Final Submission

Authors who have submitted full technical papers and case studies are currently progressing through the review process. Reviewer feedback will be provided to authors as it becomes available, and authors may be required to revise their paper in response to the comments received.

Authors are encouraged to carefully address all reviewer feedback and upload their revised paper through the Paper Submission Portal as soon as possible.

FINAL PAPER DEADLINE: FRIDAY 4 SEPTEMBER 2026

All papers should have completed the review and revision process, with the final version uploaded to the submission portal by this date.

For any questions regarding your paper submission or the review process, please contact Conference@corrosion.com.au.

Reviewer Access

Paper reviews are currently underway. Reviewers are asked to complete any outstanding reviews and submit their feedback through the Paper Reviewer Portal as soon as possible, to allow authors sufficient time to make any required revisions before the final paper deadline.

Case Study Template

Due to popular demand, in addition to our technical papers, the Case Study paper option will return for 2026. Case studies, such as reports on field trials and the use of new and/or novel technologies for corrosion prevention and protection are an important part of knowledge exchange for the corrosion industry.

Technical Paper Template

Technical papers remain a cornerstone of the 2026 Technical Symposium & Expo program. Research studies, experimental investigations, and reviews of innovative approaches in corrosion prevention and protection are essential for advancing knowledge and sharing expertise within the corrosion industry.

Industry Practice Presentations

Extended Abstract Submissions Open Now!

The Industry Practice Presentation submission portal for authors who wish to deliver an oral presentation without submitting a full paper.

To submit your presentation, you will be required to:

  • Submit an extended abstract of at least 500 words outlining your presentation.
  • Select your preferred presentation location(s). You may choose one or more of the following symposiums:
  • 1. Christchurch
  • 2. Auckland
  • 3. Melbourne

This is a multi-select option, so please indicate all locations where you would be available to present. Your preferences will assist us in developing the

technical programs for each symposium.

Please note that Industry Practice Presentation submissions will not undergo formal peer review. However, all presentations are expected to comply with the ACA Presentation Guidelines, which are available on the ACA website and are also provided within the submission portal.

All submitted abstracts will still be reviewed by the Conference Working Group Chairs to assess their suitability and relevance for inclusion in the symposium technical program. Submissions are therefore subject to approval, and authors will be advised of the outcome of their abstract submission in early September 2026.
